If you enjoy taking group fitness and are ready to take the next step in your fitness career, this is the class for you! Learn all of the skills needed to teach safe and effective fitness classes. Participants must have previous group fitness participation experience.
When: September 14 - November 6 MWF 1:30-3:30pm (8 week course)
Where: Lectures in SRC Staff Conference Room and Practical in Small Gym D

COST: Student Members: $150, Non-Student Members: $200, Non-Members: $275 (cost includes textbook and SDF pass for duration of the class)

Introduction to Personal Training Registration for Fall is now closed. The next section of this course will be offered Summer 2010.
Introduction to Personal Training consists of extensive practical and theoretical training, including anatomy and kinesiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, exercise psychology, training techniques, safety and injury prevention, and liability information. Practical information includes spotting, intake, program design for apparently healthy populations, major basic exercises and form.
Cost: Student: $125, Non-student Member: $175, Non-member: $250 (cost of the course includes textbook)
