She is currently pursuing her Masters in Somatic Psychology and Counseling with an emphasis in expressive arts therapies. She is dedicated to researching and innovating new methods of healing in this field and further refining the benefits of yoga and meditation. She combines western psychology with various aspects of Buddhist and Yogic philosophy and mindfulness, creating a dynamic pallet of tools to promote self awareness.
When she's not teaching or studying, you will likely find her with her kids and husband somewhere on a mountain or creating art and music.
Her pursuit to truly understand and accept her inner nature, mental well being and physical health has brought her through a 13 year journey of meditation, self awareness, yoga and transformation. She has experienced the remarkable ability for the body to expand and heal itself through the practice of asana (poses), the mind to become tranquil and calm with steady breath and the peace of the soul to be reveled as a result of intention, surrender and grace. She encourages you to believe in yourself; to accept, honor and recognize your ability to create a safe, exploratory, powerful, fulfilling practice and life that is built on the integrity of your intentions.
