Your donation will make a tangible difference in the lives of our students.
While Campus Recreation annually provides funds to help support more than 32 registered Sport Clubs, these funds do not cover the total operating expenses for most clubs. Campus Recreation would like to give each club more financial support, but the demand from each team exceeds what we can provide. By giving to Sport Clubs, your money will make a difference in the lives of our students.
How will your gift be spent?
Current monetary priorities include:
• Obtaining seating in the form of bleachers to enhance the comfort of spectators and increase game attendance.
• Field development around the University and in the city of Tempe to provide more opportunities for club practices and expanded club development.
• Support of individuals and teams by providing money for travel expenses, tournament entry fees, league or association fees, officiating fees and equipment purchases. The Sport Club Staff and Sport Club Council have developed an allocation process to address club needs.
All financial gifts made to ASU sport clubs must be processed by the ASU Foundation. As a separate 501 ©(3) charitable organization, the Foundation’s mission is to raise, invest and manage gifts to benefit the university. The Foundation maintains donor and alumni records, manages assets under its control, and disburses monies to support university programs.
If you prefer, your money can be given to a specific Sport Club. Simply contact Tara Yesenski, Sport Club Coordinator, with information on your gift, the club you wish to designate it for, and the intended use for the gift (if any).
