ASU GYMNASTS 4 MORE ALL AMERICANS
Coach Barclay Awarded “Coach of the Year”

Springfield, MA- The ASU Men’s Gymnastics Team added 4 more All Americans to their list of accomplishments this weekend here in Springfield, Massachusetts where the USAG 2008 Collegiate National Championships were just concluded on the campus of Springfield College. Three ASU gymnasts qualified into the Individual finals from yesterday’s prelims.
Sophomore Anthony Naddour (Gilbert) started out the evening performing his best set of the season on the Still Rings scoring a 13.55, good for 6th place. On Pommel Horse Naddour scored 14.3- good for 3rd place. On Vault, Sophomore Anthony Damiani of Mesa and Freshman Josh Bradley of Nebraska both qualified into the final 8 gymnasts. Bradley hit a strong Tsuk with 1 ½ twists for a score of 14.85 and 3rd place. Damiani hit his Tsuk full twist good for 14.75 placing him just behind his teammate in 4th place.
All 3 gymnasts earned All America honors on each event. Naddour, Charles Baysinger, Dillon Saunders and Bradley all won All America Honors in the All Around competition last night when the Sun Devils won the Team National title.
15th year head coach Scott Barclay won “USA Gymnastics Coach of The Year” for the 10th time in his coaching career “It’s a great team to coach but I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for their commitment and desire to do be involved in such a positive activity,” said Barclay.
