Valley Metro Light Rail Possible Stops and Directions to ASU’s SRC
Stop 22: Veterans Way/ College Ave.
• Exit Light rail at Stop 22 at Veterans Way and College Ave.
• Take College Ave South to ASU campus.
• Take University Dr. East (left) toward walking bridge over University Dr.
• Cross over University Dr. (heading South) using walking bridge (now on Palm Walk).
• Continue South on Palm Walk to the end.
• The SRC is directly in front (Palm Walk ends at the SRC entrance).
Stop 23: University Dr./ Rural Rd.
• Exit Light rail at Stop 23 at University Dr. and Rural Rd.
• Walk South to Tyler St. dirt path.
• Take Tyler St., West onto ASU campus.
• Continue West on Tyler Mall (Tyler St. turns into an ASU walkway).
• At Tyler Mall and Palm Walk intersection turn South (Left).
• Continue South on Palm Walk to the end. (Palm Walk ends at the SRC’s entrance)
Orbit Bus Routes and Directions to ASU’s SRC
Jupiter: There are two reasonable drop-off points along the Jupiter Orbit Bus Line. The first is at Apache and College Ave. Whether on the Jupiter Forward or Back, this stop is almost directly across from the SRC. After exiting the Orbit cross Apache at College Ave and turn East (Right). At Normal Ave turn North (Left). The SRC is on the right.
The second drop-off, best for riding on the Jupiter Back route, is at Rural Rd. and Lemon St. Cross Rural at Lemon St. (best to exit the bus just before intersection) heading west. Take Lemon St. to McAllister Ave. Cross to the west side of McAllister Ave. and head South (left) about 300 ft. Turn West (right) onto Lemon St. walkway and the SRC is on the left as you continue on. The entrance is at the Lemon St. walkway and Palm Walk intersection.
Mars: No direct route to the Student Recreation Complex. Must take Mars route to either Jupiter or Mercury routes and refer to those routes suggested drop-off points.
Mercury: The same as the second Jupiter stop, the best Mercury drop-off point is at Rural Rd. and Lemon St. Cross Rural at Lemon St. (best to exit the bus just before intersection) heading west. Take Lemon St. to McAllister Ave. Cross to the west side of McAllister Ave. and head South (left) about 300 ft. Turn West (right) onto Lemon St. walkway and the SRC is on the left as you continue on. The entrance is at the Lemon St. walkway and Palm Walk intersection.
Venus: The best drop-off point is at 10th St. and Mill Ave. Head East onto ASU’s campus until you reach Forrest Mall (first large walkway running North/South). Head South approximately 200 ft then turn East (left) continuing East until reaching Palm Walk. Take Palm Walk South (right) to the end. (Palm Walk ends at the SRC’s entrance)
Earth: Exit the Earth Route (either Forward or Back) on University Dr. close to University walking bridge. Cross over University Dr. (heading South) using walking bridge (now on Palm Walk). Continue South on Palm Walk to the end. The SRC is directly in front (Palm Walk ends at the SRC entrance).
Valley Metro System Stops and Directions to ASU’s SRC
Bus line 40 drops-off directly behind the SRC, at the McAllister and Apache stop. Walk North along McAllister toward Lemon St. walkway. Turn West (Left) onto Lemon St. walkway, the SRC is on the Left all along Lemon St walkway.
