Ju Jitsu
Description: A traditional martial art incorporating Karate (punching, kicking, blocking), Judo (falling and throwing), and Akido (using an opponents energy to gain control).
Each workout includes calisthenics, stretching, new technique instruction and structured practice.
Dates: January 14 – April 30
Times: Mon./Wed. 7-9:30pm; optional class Sat. 10-12pm
Location: PE East (optional Sat. class @ SRC Small Gym A)
Cost: ASU Students: $50
SRC Non-student Members: $60
Non-Members: $75
Instructor: Chris Christian, an Arizona State University graduate with a BS in Chemistry, has been studying Ju-Jitsu with the ASU Ju-Jitsu Club for over 22 years. He has been the chief instructor for the club for the last 4 years.
Class materials: Participants are required to purchase a Gi (uniform) to participate in the class – It will not be required for the first couple of weeks. Instructor will have information on purchasing
