Swim the Pac-10
“Swim the Pac-10” is a challenge among all Pac-10 schools to motivate swimmers and beginners to move to the pools for fitness and swim the distance of the Pac-10 from campus to campus. Participants can water walk, aqua jog or swim their way through the challenge, the main point is to get in the water and realize the benefits of swimming.
When: February 1st - May 2nd
Where: Any pool at anytime
How to register: Go to the SRC guard office (at pool area) or email Justin Kern at jkern@asu.edu
Distances have been calculated based on general distances from campus to campus. Participants will log their own lengths by recording their distances on sheets kept in a log book in the SRC lifeguard office. There will be both Beginner (1 length = 5 miles, 10,185 yards total) & Advanced (1 length = 1 mile, 50,925 yards) categories.
