Equipment Rentals

Informal recreation equipment is rented at the Equipment Room. You must use your ID to check out and check in equipment. Your ID card is scanned and returned to you. All equipment is inspected at check out and check in time. Any damage incurred will be assessed a replacement fee (beyond normal "wear and tear"). Any equipment checked out under your ID number becomes your responsibility.

General equipment rental cost is $0.50 per item (most items). Overnight rentals of general equipment are $2.00. Weight belts, and racquetball goggles are rented for free.

Equipment Rental Policies

1. All equipment checked out or rented on a daily basis must be returned to the Equipment Room 30 minutes before closing time.
2. All late, lost, or damaged equipment is subject to a fine.

Lost and Found

1. All lost and found items are retained at the Equipment Room, with the exception of valuables. Valuables are kept at Administrative Services, located in the SRC front lobby.
2. Unclaimed items are donated to a charity on the 1st of every month.
3. All found IDs are taken to the Memorial Union Information Desk (located on the main level) at the start of each business day.
