Adult Swim Lessons
Group Swim Lessons
Instructors will discuss motivations, interests and needs with participants to create the lesson plan. They will also take into consideration the participants’ past experiences, current goals and physical characteristics to introduce basic to advanced swimming skills. All levels are welcome.
Session 1: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30pm Feb 09 – Mar 4 Session 2: Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00pm Mar 22 – Apr 14 Session 3: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00pm April 06 – April 29 Registration: Online Registration is not available for this class. Cost: ASU Students - $45 SRC Members $55 Non-Members $70 Each session includes 8-1 hour lessons. Classes will not be made up unless cancelled due to inclimate weather. Instructors will introduce topics based on your level of swimming and tailor lesson plans to help obtain your fitness swimming goals. They will also take into consideration your past experiences, current goals and physical characteristics to introduce basic to advanced swimming skills. Sessions are based around your schedule and instructors are chosen to fit your specific needs.

Lifeguard Training
This course certifies individuals as American Red Cross Lifeguards. Students will also receive training in First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. This certification is accepted nationwide. Students must be 15 years old by the last day of class to be eligible. Students must also be able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl or breaststroke to enter the class. Students must be able to attend all class sessions to be eligible for certification.
Each session consists of four classes. Participants must attend all four classes to complete the course.
Session 1: February 20, 21, 27, 28 Saturdays & Sundays 9am -5pm Session 2: March 15-18th Monday- Thursday 9am - 5pm Session 3: April 10, 11, 17, 18th Saturdays & Sundays 9am -5pm Session 4: May 17-20th Monday- Thursday 9am – 5pm Registration: Online Registration is not available for this class. Is your lifeguard certification about to expire? The SRC offers lifeguard challenge classes to update the three year certification. Through this program an individual will work with a certified American Red Cross instructor to review and challenge the Lifeguard Training Program. Individuals will receive updated certifications in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Dates and times can be set up through the Aquatic Coordinator. The class includes instruction and certification. If a student needs a Lifeguard Training manual, an additional fee will apply. Current lifeguard certification must be show to verify eligibility to take the course.
