Aquatics
Escape to the SRC Recreational and Fitness Pool to meet all your aquatic needs. The Aquatic Department provides structured and unstructured activities to enhance the quality of life for students, faculty, and staff. The pool is 70 meters X 25 yards. It's depth ranges from 3.5 feet to 9.5 feet holding almost 975,000 gallons of water. Steps and an accessible dry ramp ramp is located at the East end of the pool Ladders are also positioned around the North, South, and West end of the pool for easy entry and exit. There are always 8 lanes reserved for lap swimming, and the pool temp is kept at a comfortable 78- 82 degrees year round.
SRC Pool Hours
The pool closes each night one hour prior to the closing of the building. The pool closes at 6 p.m. on Sundays or 3 hours before the building to perform maintence.
Normal Academic Year Pool Hours
Monday – Friday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Family Swim Times
Campus Recreation has expanded it's family swim hours for the summer months. Members can now bring in their spouse and children up to the age of 16 to use the pool. The member must accompany the family at all times while at the pool. Non-Family members will be required to purchase a one day guest pass for $10. Family swim times are limited to the pool area.
All lifejackets used at the SRC need to be coast guard approved. Water wings are not permitted for safety reasons. We do hold a limited supply of lifejackets on hand that you can use free of charge. See a lifeguard on duty with questions.
Friday: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
